The Digital Fundraising Associate is responsible for the development and delivery of a digital strategy surrounding the planning, execution, and evaluation of all digital aspects of the FOUR PAWS US Fundraising program, in line with the organization’s Fundraising and Mobilization strategies, to support meeting and growing the annual fundraising revenue and supporter acquisition targets.

Primary / general responsibilities:

  • Work with the Fundraising team to deliver donor recruitment and development campaigns, employing multiple digital platforms throughout the year, including email marketing, social media and online advertising.
  • Day-to-day management of all digital aspects of the Fundraising program, including donor acquisition & welcome package, as well as engagement with existing donors.
  • Lead the development and delivery of a digital strategy.
  • Oversee the redesign, alignment, and delivery of the FOUR PAWS on-line sponsorship program.
  • Design and produce clear, actionable digital evaluation reports and undertaking ROI analysis.
  • Identify, share and drive A/B and multivariate testing reporting and analysis.
  • Work with staff and vendors to optimize fundraising processes.
  • Manage Google Adwords account and develop strategy for effective use of Google Adwords Grant, PPC advertising and SEO.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging digital/fundraising tactics and trends.
  • Network with other relevant organizations and actively participating in key digital/fundraising communities.
  • Remain well-informed on animal welfare issues and FOUR PAWS’ activities through interaction with the Programs and Communications departments.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as directed.

Skills & Abilities:

  • A strong understanding of constituent relationship management coupled with imaginative creative thinking.
  • Experience on digital strategies and managing budgets.
  • The ability to understand complex requests for data needs.
  • Knowledge of CMS and CRM systems, constituent database and analytic platforms.
  • Familiar with trends and upcoming opportunities within digital marketing and fundraising.
  • Experience managing relationships with vendors and consultants.
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop skills.
  • Track record of designing and launching new programs.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing start-up like environment.
  • Proven ability to build consensus and work effectively within a cross-departmental team.


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of two (2) years related experience.
  • Proficient in data systems.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Must be a good team player and have the capacity to build strong professional relationships while understanding the intricacies of complex organizations.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and demonstrate initiative, good judgment, and a commitment to animal welfare.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be dedicated to the mission of FOUR PAWS International.
