Position Objective:

To support staff members in the Production and Publication departments in coordinating and producing print items


Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Schedule, route, organize, and archive all assigned print production projects, and ensure that jobs are completed on schedule

• Update project tracking in the production database

• Act as a liaison between production artists, designers, and job requesters

• Obtain bids, prepare files, and print orders for smaller projects

• Review proofs and final quality on all printed items

• Assist with researching and obtaining materials for PETA’s props, demonstrations, publications, and media mailings

• Perform clerical duties for the Production department, including filing, faxing, mailing, photocopying, and coordinating shipments

• Complete check requests and ensure prompt payment of all invoices

• Coordinate and complete monthly reports as assigned

• Run departmental errands

• Perform any other duties assigned by the manager or the director



• One year of print production (offset or quick-copy shop) or related advertising or design experience

• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated organizational skills, reliability, and accuracy

• Demonstrated effective research skills

• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. driver’s license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record
