Want a new challenge working part-time in another aspect of veterinary medicine? The PAWS Companion Animal Services Department in Lynnwood, Washington, has an opening for a Veterinary Technician on our shelter medicine team.

You will get extensive experience performing intubation, IV injections, dentals, radiographs, diagnostic procedures, examinations, and hands-on work with over 4,000 animals annually.

Our team provides excellent care and spay/neuter surgeries for cats and dogs awaiting a second chance at a loving home. Over 95% of the animals are saved through our efforts including mass removals, hernia repairs, amputations, eye and ear surgeries – annually 200+ specialty surgeries and 2,500 spays/neuters.

You’ll be supporting the animals at highest risk, examining and treating foster kittens, puppies and adults recovering from illness or injury. Must be a licensed veterinary technician with the ability to obtain a Washington State license. (If you are a new graduate or a licensed technician in another state or in the process of securing your Washington license, you may apply.)
